Hilarious how somebody actually blamed Labour. The Tories were still Blaming Labour for everything after being in power 10 years before, and after the Tories caused a recession from their mismanagement.
I don't think the Tories really want to improve the economy, as if they did why would they do the worst thing by raising VAT which makes everything more expensive to stop people spending money, then not do anything with the VAT as spent the same amount on giving millionaires tax cuts.

My fear is that neoliberalism has taken hold on all sides. Economic policies from any government would be seeking to encourage "investment" from the most "appropriate" bidder(s) to increase GDP, increase employment, boost consumerism and raise GNI. It matters little who's governing this country. Essentially, it's all about how we "manage" the excesses of the corporates. Trade agreements, such as the democracy-killing TPP/TPIP, will continue to call the shots. Debt and credit are the currencies we're living with, whatever the coinage we put it under. It's time we took a hard look at how far we allow corporate profits take precendent over people. Abolish corporate law and hold individuals to account for their actions and not be protected by limited liability. Follow Iceland and imprison bankers for their folly. Totting up failed and nasty Tory policies does nothing to address the real issues. Both sides of the argument, (Right/Left), are subject to the whims of those who hold the real power. The "wealth creators" that Camoron loves so much! Given that the Bank of England is probably the biggest tax haven in the world with tentacles all over the globe, we should outlaw secrecy and "commercial confidentiality". Bring back democracy!

Strikes me that there are some Defence failures that could do with being mentioned as well.

The skyrocketing price of the new carriers might be down to Labour failure to negotiate the contracts properly, but the decision to get rid of the Fleet Air Arm that what when they're built there's nothing to fly from them is a Tory masterstroke.

Replacement of Air Sea Rescue with a civilian operation that would refuse to rescue our pilots in an actual emergency.

There's also the reduction in Army capability to think about.

Despite defence being traditional Tory heartland, these fools seem to have missed the point that the Armed Forces are here to defend us, and not just there to annoy tin pot third world dictators
